Since 1990, Better Barber, a brand of IR Innovation, has
been providing the best trimming and shaving experience for professional Barbers
around the world.
We developed the original disposable razor, which revolutionized the hairdressing industry
worldwide, raising awareness for the importance of hygiene and safety.

With a team of industrial designers and industry experts, we set out to create a solution that would offer barbers and their customers the best of all worlds; a return to tradition that answers modern day concerns of health & safety. Understanding that the feel and weight of the razor in the hand of the barber are as important as the blade, we designed a high-quality straight razor with a disposable blade that returns this much cherished tool of the trade to modern-day barbers.
Better Barber was established with a very clear ethos: renew, revive, update, innovate but never loose sight of what was, and what works. People cherish items, customs, and traditions that have been around for centuries. Our aim is to bring the two together – to hold onto what is good and improve the things that no longer work, and to always deliver excellence.
